Notice of Scheduled Power Outage for Electrical Inspection
Dear Valued Guests,
Thank you for choosing Hotel Keihan Asakusa.
To ensure the safety of our facilities, we will be conducting a mandatory annual inspection of our electrical equipment on the following date. Please be advised that there will be a total power outage throughout the entire building during this period.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your kind cooperation and understanding. Please rest assured that our staff will not enter your guest room during the inspection.
1. Date and Time
Thursday, May 7th, 2026
- Total Power Outage: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (approx. 2 hours)
- Air Conditioning Shutdown: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (approx. 3 hours)
2. Affected Areas
Entire Building (Guest Rooms, Lobby, Restaurant, and Parking Lot)
3. Unavailable Facilities & Services
During the outage, the following will be unavailable:
- Inside Guest Rooms: Lighting, TV, Internet (Wi-Fi), Telephone, and Power Outlets.
- Water Supply: Toilets, Showers, and Hot Water (Water will be completely cut off).
- Building Facilities: Elevators, Escalators, Air Conditioning, and Laundry Corner.
